Liebster Award

Hey everyone!

So this morning when I woke up and checked my email, I had one saying I had a comment from Porcelain Glam from Haute Dare, saying that she has nominated me for the Liebster Award!

The word "Leibster" means dearest in german. The award is and award for bloggers who have less than 200 followers, but are still dedicated none the less and put effort into their blogs. 

Can't say thank you enough to Porcelain Glam for nominating me for this, it's so sweet and it feels amazing to have support for my little blog, which takes a lot of time to put together. So thank you again Porcelain Glam! And you should all check out her great blog Haute Dare, here!

11 Random Facts About Me

I'm not actually Irish, Im english but my parents are Irish and I have been living in Ireland since the age of 9.
I have two older sisters and a younger brother.
I love make up a little too much!
I have been with my boyfriend for 4 and a half years
I have a very active imagination, maybe sometimes too active! 
I can't go to sleep without my teddy who is a big yellow bunny named honey bunny 
I am constantly reading other people's blogs
I love cooking
I have to smell every candle that I see
I studied Nursing in college
My favourite colour is Purple

Questions From Porcelain Glam 

1. How can I improve my blog? 
Not sure if you mean your blog or mine porcelain! But if it's your's I love your blog but would love to see you take more of your own photos :) For mine, there's lots I want to do! At the minute I'm working on a giveaway that's coming up in the next few weeks, I want to do a few series type posts, FOTD posts if I can summon the courage from somewhere to put my face in my blog regularly! I also want to start taking better photos and am trying to lay my posts out better.

2. If you had to live with one Mascara forever, which one would you pick?
I haven't really found one yet that is an absolute must for me, but the one i've liked best so far is Maybelline's One by One mascara.

3. New Year's Resolution?
Haven't really made any solid ones this year. Maybe just to try and be lessed stressed out and to be happier.

4. Polar bears or Penguins? Choose wisely *evil glare*
This question made me laugh so much! Hmm...probably penguins because I love them, but I also love Polar bears too! It's too hard to choose! But Penguins! Lol

5.Why did you start blogging?
I have always loved make up and beauty, but I started watching people on You Tube, and reading blogs and I realised these are just normal people who love this stuff as much as I do. I was also getting annoyed living in a house with only my dad and brother and obviously my boyfriend didnt want to hear me talking about how I wanted that eyeshadow palette or that I really like this lipstick, so I decided that I'd start my own blog and here I am! 

6. What is your favourite store? 
I have a few, clothes wise, it would be Penneys (for you British girls that's the same as Primark but just a different name) For make up, I love Boots because the bigger ones have every drugstore brand you can get, and for high end stuff and my all round favourite its Debenhams! I dont buy a lot in there, but I love to look! 

7. What is your dream job?
This has changed so much. I studied Nursing in college, but then decided it wasnt for me. Then I went back to my original plan of being a Veterinary Nurse because Im crazy about animals, when I started that I had to stop because of finances being low and also because I remembered my school guidance councillor telling me im not smart enough for veterinary and it made me not want to try. Now I know that I want to be a successful make up artist and blogger. Im trying to save money up for the make up artistry course I want to do and then i'll be able to do my dream job!

8. Favourite lip combos? (liner, gloss, lipstick)
As for lip liners, I don't own a single one! Lipstick, I love dusty pinks and also peach lipsticks, favourites being a 17 lipstick I have in barely blush and Revlon's Peach Parfait Lip butter. Gloss wise I just like sheer ones, I love Benefit's Dandelion.

9. Which best describes your eyeshadow? Daring-Darla, Calm Callie, Neutral-Nadia
Im a neutural nadia, definatley!

10. What is your favourite candy?
I love the fruity Mentos sweets but at the minute im more of a crips person, Skips being my favourite!

Cake!
